Why should read fantasy? I give a few reasons for people who aren't yet into the larger genre, and what you can get out of it as a reader that you just can't get with other "realist" genres. Fantasy is a genre you need not fear just because you see large tomes on the shelves of the setting seems odd - these things can deliver incredible insight!
